Marlena Hamilton was born and raised in Newport Beach, California in the Bayview Heights neighborhood, where her parents still reside in after 30+ years.
Marlena is an active parishioner at St. Joachim Catholic Church- she also attended Pre-K to 8th grade at the school there. Marlena then attended Mater Dei High School and afterward headed to the desert to attend the University of Arizona, where she majored in journalism.
That journalism degree took Marlena all over the country as a news anchor or reporter. She spent the last 10 years living in different states such as Michigan, Texas, Alabama, and Georgia bringing the local news to the great communities in each of those states.
Marlena loved the news; however, family is very important to her, so she decided to hang her reporter or anchor hat and venture into Real Estate in beautiful Southern California.
Marlena wanted to make sure she got into a business where she was dealing with people on a personal level as she did with the news. Buying and selling a home can be one of the most exciting times in one's life. However, with that comes some big and emotional decisions, and Marlena knows how to make others feel comfortable and guided through every step of that process!
She also has exceptional skills in video making and on-camera work. Marlena will use those same skills to make sure your house is marketed properly on most social media platforms and give it that extra flare and wow factor online to potential buyers.
Because of her new experience, Marlena is used to working crazy hours or weekends and will always be on the clock to ensure you are her number one priority.
